Partner Dancing 101

Partner Dancing 101 is a crash course in the basics of partner dancing - also known as ballroom dancing or social dancing. The classes are divided into two 6 week groupings, covering a series of dances which will let you get out on the dance floor for any piece of music that comes your way!

One of the highlights with Partner Dancing 101 is that you may start at any time during the classes! This means that you can join in whenever you are ready without having to wait until the next season to get started. We would recommend you joining us on week 1 of for any dance to have the best experience, as everyone will be learning something new together!

You will want to complete all of the 6 dances in Partner Dancing 101 to be equipped to continue your dancing journey!

Note that you may register for a class without having a partner.

  • Week 1 and 2: Swing/Jive or Hustle

    Week 3 and 4: Slow Dance or Latin Fox

    Week 5 and 6: Cha Cha Cha or Samba
